Spring is here, and with the arrival of the new season comes flowers, sunshine and a feeling of renewal. Tulips, cherry blossoms, daffodils...all the flowers are blooming. Adorable animals are being born. The sun is starting to shine through the clouds. In honor of these beautiful, physical signs of growth, I decided to write a poem to express the joy I feel inside.

Look at all the pretty flowers

Steady in a meadow,

Standing straight like towers,

Overhead a rainbow.

Listen to the pretty birds,

Singing their beautiful song

I think they are song birds,

I could listen all day long.

The warm sun on my back,

While I lay in the grass

A twig goes crack!

I see a bird of color brass.
