When you become a Christian, you learn to live by faith. We have faith that there is a God in heaven that created us perfectly in His image. We have faith because we know that God sent His only son to the earth to die on the cross so that we are forgiven and have an eternal life in Heaven. Faith is all of this and so much more. There is more than the faith in God.

On New Year's weekend, I want with the youth group to a youth conference in Pigeon Forge. This was my first trip as a youth leader. We arrived on New Year's Eve. Immediately, something went wrong. I began to not feel well. My sinuses decided to start acting up very severely. It was to the point where it completely hindered me. In addition, I began to get some back pain. There was absolutely non comfortable position. When this happened, I let how I felt bother me. I felt very discouraged that I felt so bad on a trip that was supposed to change my life.

I realized that the enemy was trying to distract me because I was following God's will. I did not need to let some bad feeling distract me from the real reason I was in Pigeon Forge with the youth group. Ultimately, I had faith in the Lord, and I was healed of these sick feelings. I decided to have faith in the Lord and trust in His promises. I had a purpose for being at the conference with the youth, and the enemy was not going to prevent anything less than His perfect will happen that weekend.

I am so thankful that I decided to get rid of the enemy's attacks. I was able to watch those sweet teenagers get their lives changed by the Lord. They all grew closer to the Lord, and some of my kids gained their prayer language! As my faith grew, I saw that the faith grew in these teenagers as well. I saw kids get healed and also begin a relationship with the Lord. If I had let the enemy get into my mind, then I would not have noticed the teenagers and would not have poured into their lives.

No matter the situation, remember to have faith in the Lord. He has a perfect plan for us, and we cannot let the enemy deceive us in thinking that God is anything less an magnificent. With God, we can do anything. We can move mountains. He has a perfect plan for our lives. Do not let the enemy hinder you from following His perfect path.

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
