As summer winds down and it's time to amp up your wardrobe, you find yourself searching for coupons and stores with the best deals. You can't help but drool over the newest trends of the season just to reveal that the price tag is way out of your budget.

Your result after a long day of shopping is a pair of overpriced jeans and a heartbroken feeling about leaving that super cute blouse on the rack at your favorite department store.

What will your friends say when they see you wearing last year's combat boots? What if there were a way to buy new without spending too much? It sounds too good to be true, but wait, here's the secret: consignment shops.

Here's a list of seven ways consignment shops will become your new bestie this back-to-school.

1. Low prices.

Name brands for low prices, how could it get better from here?

2. Unique pieces.

Chances are when you're buying consignment, your friends aren't going to be wearing the same thing because there's one of everything in the store.

3. Support local businesses.

It is good to support local places as you're improving the in-town economy and buying from familiar faces.

4. Sell clothes you don't wear anymore

When you finally decide to clean out your closet of the clothes you don't wear anymore, take them to the store to sell back for a percent of the price and receive a store credit!

5. Always new selections

You can head back to the same consignment shop every few weeks and be sure to find a whole new selection to choose from.

6. Make old new again

Spice up a plain dress with a new belt and a few pieces of statement jewelry.

7. Testing a trend

You may not be sure if a certain trend is in your comfort zone, but still want to test it out. Purchase a for a low price at your consignment shop and you won't have to worry about wasting your money on something you don't wear.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
