Cyborg VS Nunes: What Is The Hold Up?

The frustration the woman's UFC Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg has been brewing towards the UFC's Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes as there is still no official date for them to fight. Cris Cyborg is arguing that Amanda is delaying the fight and is questioning why should they wait until December when Cyborg is pushing for September 9th. There is a tug of war with the dates but why delay one of the biggest fights of the year? She has also stated that she is willing to take another fight leading up to December 29th because she is the Champion of her division. Dana White has even said this is absolutely the fight to make

On the other hand with the UFC's first openly gay Champion Amanda Nunes, it is being said that she is waiting for Cris Cyborg to sign the contract but is still pushing for that December 29th date. Though it would be ideal to close out the year with such a big fight, Cyborg does want to fight a few more times this year that is one of the reasons she wants to fight sooner than later.

Since defeating Miesha Tate in 2016 for the woman's UFC Bantamweight Championship, Amanda has successfully defended her crown 3 times including the destruction of Ronda Rousey. She also defended the belt against top contender Valentina Shevchenko and Raquel Pennington being her most recent defense at UFC 224. Amanda has proven herself to be one of the most dominant women in the UFC as she has destroyed everyone who has tried to take her belt aside from Valentina Shevchenko being her toughest and closest fight.

Easily Amanda's biggest test to date would be Christiane Justino (Cris Cyborg) for the Featherweight Championship as they are both absolute killers inside the octagon. Since entering the UFC in 2016 Cyborg has dismantled and broken down every female that the UFC has put in front of her. As she captured the gold in the division that was built for her the UFC's Featherweight Champion is looking to prove why she is the best in the world and in the UFC.

Cris Cyborg won her title at UFC 214 by defeating Tonya Evinger for the vacant belt after Germaine De Randamie refused to fight her. Since winning her Featherweight crown, she has defended her belt twice defending it against Holly Holms and Yana Kunitskaya. She defeated Holly Holms by Unanimous Decision at UFC in a hard-fought battle. She viciously tore apart Yana at UFC 222 to successfully defend her belt for the 2nd time after winning by TKO in the 1st round.

Hopefully before the year closes out, the sooner the better. When does this fight happen not only would a belt be on the line which would more than likely be Cyborgs, but the title for the best Brazilian Female Fighter in the world would be determined when bother of these dominant figures in Woman's Mix Martial Arts eventually clash, in Rio, Brazil maybe?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
