I never had the easiest time in high school. I always had trouble with making friends, and just being in any social situation where I felt comfortable. I was always the person that people loved to make fun of, start rumors about, or just be plain mean to. Despite all that, I do have one group of girls that stuck by my side all throughout high school, that I love unconditionally. These girls, defended me through all the pain and heartache, and always had my back when I needed it. So ladies, here is my thank you to you. 

Thank you for all of the memories.

I have years worth of precious memories with you, that I will cherish forever. Whether it was just sitting together at lunch, or doing something absolutely crazy on the weekends, I knew that I could always count on you guys to make anything fun. Whether it was running a 5k, jumping off bridges, or sneaking into movie theaters, we always had something adventurous to do. 

Thank you for always backing me up.

We all have had plenty of drama in high school, unfortunately some more than others. And whether it was trouble with boys, family, or just girls that we went to school with being absolutely stupid, I always knew, and still know, that you would always be ready for a fight to defend me. And you would always be there to give me a hug and binge on Chinese food (which to be honest, we did all the time no matter what).

Thank you for also always telling me when I'm wrong.

I did a lot of stupid things in high school, and honestly I still do. Whether it was being with an awful guy, skipping my classes, or being just plain dumb, you were always there to ask me "what the hell are you doing with yourself?" and get through to me. And thank you for always knowing you can count on me to do the same for you. 

Thank you for our conversations.

I know that I can message our group chat with something serious, or a 3am with something absolutely ridiculous and someone will always respond, and continue the conversation without question. Whether its a silly question, or possibly awkward conversation topic, it's always easy with all of you, and I know that I'll more than likely get my best answers from you. Our conversations generally always have me laughing, and I'm glad that we are able to talk about absolutely anything together. I love all the rants we can share with each other, especially about other people. I love all the advice that goes through our messages. And I love the fact that I can scroll through our messages and never reach the beginning because we talk so much. 

Thanks for sticking around through the distance.

All of us are in different parts of the state, or even the country now. We are all off on our journey at different colleges and doing different things. A lot of people like to say that your high school friendships don't ever last, and I want to thank you for proving them wrong. Despite the distance, we talk nearly all day every day, and we still make time to see each other during our busy schedules. 

I could go on and on about the many things that I am thankful for in my friendships, but that would take an eternity. My group of girls, are one of my biggest support systems in my life and I love them so much. So here is a couple of thank you's for some things that I am so grateful to have with my best friends.  You've always been there for me, and I hope you all know that I'll always be there for you. You guys taught me so many important lessons, and brought me so many great memories that I'll never forget. And I know that this is not over. I can't wait to see all of you again, and to continue all of our wonderful adventures. I can't wait to see what the future has for all of us. I love you all so much. Thank you for everything.
