Two words, 11 letters, say it and I'm yours: "Harry Potter." H-A-R-R-Y P-O-T-T-E-R spells happiness, love, and the greatest life lesson in seven books. I love "Harry Potter" so much I have a tattoo and cried with joy when my mom said we were going to the Harry Potter studio in London (As I am writing this, I am only 24 hours away!). Growing up, I realized more and more this story was much more than a good read, but an amazing life lesson. This is something one doesn't truly forget or push aside, because it is in our hearts forever.

"Harry Potter" taught me that love never dies, hate is poison, and always fight for what is right. I've conquered some horrible things in life, but "Harry Potter" kept me alive and moving. When you lose someone, you feel hatred and anger, wishing to seek revenge, but honestly, Rowling wrote magic when showing that the greatest revenge is happiness and friendship. The gang taught me that being smart is amazing, but there really is more to life than books and money. What is happiness if you spend your life stuck in one spot over being enriched in the friendships or life around you?
Harry and Sirius showed me that we all have good and bad in us. No one is perfect, life isn't always peachy, we aren't always going to make wise decisions, but we can still be good people. You can't be perfect or always do what is right, but you can always try for your best. We should want to do things for the people we love not because we want something in return but the sheer fact that we love them dearly. I find it blissful to think that someone I love that dearly will never leave me.

I learned to put my studies ahead of me (you know, just in case I have to fight off a dark lord). Hermione also came along and taught me to never S.P.E.W. hatred to anyone, to fight for those who can't. We are all in this together, no matter where we come from whether that is from Gryffindor or Slytherin. My heart glows with happiness and love every time I think about what Harry Potter has done for me.
Maybe "Harry Potter" is symbolic for the horrible world we live, that we have to fight our own demons (ourselves) in order to get through life. Either way, they have touched our lives and hearts in ways we can never forget. Harry is much more than story, more than a character. He is real, they are all real.
If there is anything I know, it is that "Harry Potter" is the greatest thing that has come into our lives. To think it all started with a cupboard and became a part of our hearts and souls.
I will always love "Harry Potter." Not even at the end, because it never will.
