College students are well known for their talent in low amounts of sleep while attempting multiple tasks at once and still managing to hold their lives together (or at least pretend to), which basically makes us magicians. The average day of a college student goes like this: wake up, eat, do homework, go to class, do more homework, go to the gym, go to the library, do even more homework/study until your brain physically “can’t even,” and go to bed. Some people may wonder why campus isn’t filled with walking zombies that students turn themselves into from staying up late, hitting the bar, or even just needing a pick me up half way through the day. The answer? Coffee.
So why is this marvelous invention one of the best there is?
Coffee Understands.
Only got four hours of sleep? Have some coffee. Are you a little or REALLY hung-over from the bar at 4 p.m. on a Sunday? Easy fix—have some coffee. Do you have a paper due at 9 a.m. and are just now realizing it? Coffee can help you. Whether it’s 8 a.m. or 8 p.m., never question if coffee is a good idea, just drink it.
You always factor it into your day.
Sometimes you set your alarm so you have just enough time to not look homeless and still make it to class on time, and no one judges you for that. As a coffee lover, you know to factor in “coffee-making” time and are totally fine with losing that extra two minutes of valuable sleep, all in the name of coffee.
Any season is coffee season.
Just because it’s 80 degrees and sunny outside doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to enjoy coffee. Thanks to evolution and to the coffee lovers before us, coffee comes in all different temperatures to be enjoyed just the same. So whether you like it hot, frozen, or iced; there will always be a coffee for you.
Coffee brings happiness.
It’s become an unwritten rule not to talk to someone until they’ve had their coffee, and we all know if you don’t have it your day is basically doomed before it’s even began. Based on this evidence, it’s almost certain that coffee brings happiness and allows for a more decent day.
It’s also great for catching up with people.
With mom and dad who you haven’t seen in a while, someone you’ve had a crush on for years, or even just a friend, chances are they like coffee. And frankly, if they don't like coffee, they probably can't be trusted and you should distance yourselves from them.
