For me, the best time for fashion and the best time of the year is fall! I think that being a November baby makes me a little bias. It is honestly one of the best times because you can take out your cozy sweaters and boots. Living in Florida, we do not get that much time with cold weather but I will take what I can get. We also can not forget that it is the comeback season for the pumpkin spice latte.
One of my favorite colors for fall is burgundy. It looks so good on anything. Your lips, nails, clothes and shoes. It is the time when you can be a little bolder with your makeup and wardrobe. Another color I like to wear a lot during this time is black. It is a classy color that never goes out of style. An amazing accessory to wear during the colder months, are scarves. I have a lot of scarves but there is always room for more. They are by far the best thing to accessorize your outfits with. The good thing is that they not only make you look good but they keep you warm as well. Another thing I like is hats. I’m going to be honest, they can sometimes feel like a little much if you are not used to wearing them, but they are a great piece to make an outfit look chic. They can be inexpensive and easy to find. Another great thing to sport during the fall season is a classic trench coat. It goes with absolutely everything and every color. This fall season there has been a twist of the trench coat and it now has become a trench vest. Some people also call it a duster. It is such a classy and almost whimsical piece because it just barely touches the ground and makes you look like you are floating. These dusters can be paired with anything, like a dress or jeans and a t-shirt. They also come in all kinds of colors and materials. We have seen that suede has been really popular on the runway during this past fashion week. You do not have to spend a million bucks to look like a million bucks because many stores are coming out with them. I have looked around for this trend and Target has really been stepping up their game when it comes to being on trend. They have brought out an olive green suede trench coat that is really beautiful. Sometimes people can be afraid to try suede and in a color, but as long as you pair it with neutral colors you can make the outfit be all about the trench vest. Not only that, but you can always choose one piece to stand out and have the rest be a little more toned down. It is one of the best ways and seasons to experiment with fashion. With these tips I think that you can kick off this fall season!
