Air Travel As Told By Your Favorite '90s Shows

The hassle of flying long distances is something we have all come to dread.

If you have ever sat on a long distance flight you can understand that it is not the most fun of experiences. It may start off not so bad, but by the end of the first couple of hours you are ready to claw your way out of the plane.

1. You are super excited to be taking a trip.

You have been waiting and saving up your money for this trip, so finally taking off is very exciting.

2. But then you have to go through airport security.

Security is generally a pretty time consuming experience. It really depends on how the TSA agents are feeling that day. You will also begin to resent those who felt the need to put every single piece of jewelry they owned on this morning.

3. When you finally get through, there is the frantic rush to put everything back on.

You want to quickly leave the area to allow other people to get their stuff. Inevitably you will end up nearly dropping something and looking like an absolute mess. Everyone else seems to have their life together though...

4. Suddenly you must purchase all of the food in the airport.

It doesn't matter if a water bottle is six bucks and a burger is 15, you feel compelled to buy a ton of food before you are stuck on an airplane for who knows how many hours. Plus the choices in the airport tend to be pretty unhealthy.

5. Every single person feels the need to crowd around the line area.

Everyone feels the need to crowd around the lines before boarding even begins. It make you wonder if everyone realizes we have assigned seats and will all get there at the same time.

6. You finally get on the plane and shove your carry-on into the overhead bin.

There is never enough room for all of the carry-on bags. It ultimately becomes like a game of Tetris.

7. At first the seat doesn't seem so bad.

Sure the seat may be small with absolutely no legroom, but it seems doable. Just don't move your arms and only take shallow breaths.

8. But then your legs get incredibly restless and there just is not enough space.

People were just not meant to sit in one place this long, pacing the aisles for a few minutes isn't enough to help you get comfortable.

9. Finally food comes -- it may or may not be good.

You will definitely eat the food although some parts of it may be questionable. There aren't too many options when hurtling through the air in a metal tube.

10. Inevitably some baby will be crying...

You know they can't help it, but darn! Crying babies are incredibly annoying and definitely make flying even less enjoyable.

11. Or worse, some small child.

Your child may be cute to you, but I can assure you this plane full of people who have had to endure your kid crying for the past 20 minutes do not agree. Please keep sounds and slobber to a minimum.

12. You may try to sleep ... which might work.

Be advised, given the cramped nature of plane seats finding the perfect position will likely require some degree of contortion on your part. But if you can't fall asleep your flight will be a pretty lengthy experience.

13. If it doesn't, your entertainment will run out after a few hours.

On really long flights there is just no way to pack enough diverse entertainment in your bag. Be prepared to be pretty bored.

14. Your electronics will slowly begin to die.

Once your electronics die you are going to be left sitting in boredom. You better hope there are outlets nearby!

15. Headphones will become the most uncomfortable thing on the planet.

Even the best designed earbuds will not be fun after about four hours into the flight. If only this form of torture existed during the Spanish Inquisition, I'm sure they would have used it.

16. Look, more clouds...

There isn't much to see in a plane, so be prepared to look at clouds or the ocean.

17. You will likely check how long you have been on the plane, but barely any time will have passed.

Your flight is going to seem like the longest time of your life! Even when it feels like a lot of time has passed, very little actually will have.

18. Finally it's almost landing time.

After what feels like forever you hear the announcement that is almost time to land, you could not be more ready to get off this plane.

19. But everyone jumps up even though the plane doors aren't even open.

Just because the wheels are on the ground does not mean we are getting off this cramped sardine can. If we aren't even to the gate why are you all standing?

20. Finally getting out of the cramped plane is like a miracle.

You survived! Hopefully you don't have another long flight for a little while!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
