Congrats on your weekend rager! I’m sure everyone had a great time dancing, socializing and you bet it taking lots of insta captions with the USA emoji in the captions, but hey that’s what makes not only the fourth but summer parties so much fun. The opportunity to celebrate holidays or just have a good time with your friends and loved ones is an experience you’ll never forget, the aftermath not so much…
Part 1: The Wake Up
Whether you just happen to be an early riser no matter what or wake up at 2 pm you eventually have to rise and shine.
Part 2: The Quick Glance Around
You see the leftover food / drinks on the table, spills everywhere and guests who stayed the night but you’re not bothered, in fact a sense of accomplishment fills you as you know you threw a great party.
Part 3: It Hits You
All it takes is one step to see a spilled drink on the floor or cups lying around and suddenly you realize you’ve become ambushed by the after party mess. You know it’s too early for all of this but yet duty calls and something has to be done.
Part 4: Help
Here’s where things get interesting, everyone likes a party but no one is found when it’s time to clean up. It can be a bit awkward asking random quests that had to spend the night over to help but there’s one group you can rely on, your ever faithful friends who most likely had the idea in the first place.
Part 5: Divide and Conquer
For beginners, the thing with hosting is that no area of your place is safe. As you fight your way through with a trash bag as your weapon you’ll find the most random things to clean up sparking the what actually happened thought into your head.
Part 6: The Look
You know what look I’m speaking of. The never again look you give your friends as you’ve been completely scared from hosting a party ever again.
Part 7: Eh Why Not
As soon as the next major weekend hits you know you’ll do it all over again. The urge to fill your place with people having a good time becomes a necessity you can’t fight. Though there may be some cleaning up planning ahead of time everyone knows where it’s at as soon as the weekend hits and you'r more than ok with it.
