One of the best things about Cincinnati is all of our great food options! There are so many, it can be difficult to decide where to go. So, here is a list on some of the best and affordable restaurants in Cincinnati – well, best according to the Internet.
1. Eli's BBQ: Internet Rating of about a 4.5/5
It's kind of off the beaten path, but it's amazing BBQ! Eli's has an outdoor and indoor seating option (mostly outdoor). You really get the feel that you are grilling out with family and friends when you go there. There aren't that many food options, but it's a great place to go when you are craving some good and fresh BBQ.
2. Tom + Chee: Internet rating of about a 4/5
It's a grilled cheese lovers dream come true – so many grilled cheese combinations! Seriously, who comes up with these recipes? There are plenty of vegetarian friendly options and plenty of options that are a meat lovers dream. Oh, and there's a grilled cheese donut. There are multiple locations around the greater Cincinnati area, so find the one closest to you and get your grilled cheese on.
3. Senate: Internet Rating of about a 4.4/5
A lot of us spent our childhoods eating hot dogs for most of our meals. Now, it's time for adult hot dogs! Senate serves the perfect hot dog, loaded with even more good stuff on top. Not a hot dog person? Don't worry, they have other options on the menu. Did I mention they were on also featured on the Food Network?
4. Zip's Cafe: Internet Rating of about a 4/5
Who doesn't love a good hamburger? Located in Mount Lookout Square, Zip's serve a great hamburger for a great price. You can keep it simple, or you can pick an item off the menu that has a little more meat to it. Vegetarians have options, too! And if you aren't the burger type, they have some pretty great sandwiches and salads.
5. A Tavola: Internet Rating of about 4.5/5
Everyone needs good pizza in their life. Sometimes we need good pizza that doesn't make us feel that guilty about eating it. That's where A Tavola comes in. To me, it's fancy pizza with toppings and sauces I would never think of on a normal day. And their fried cheese balls are amazing. (They have a fancier, more Italian name to them.)
6. Bakersfield: Internet Rating of about 4.5/5
I've never met a person I liked who didn't have a passion for the tacos at this restaurant. They may look smaller than your average taco, but they are so full of flavor. Bakersfield also has some mean and tasty margaritas and sangria. So, the next time you could really go for some Mexican food, stop by Bakersfield. The wait is worth it, believe me, which is why they were also featured on the Food Network.
