For the last two weeks, I have written about affordable makeup brands that can fit into anyone's tight budget. Either if you are a beginner or a pro makeup artist, makeup can be expensive and sometimes it is challenging to find a makeup brand that gives more 'bang' for you 'buck'. This week I will present you with another brand which is incredibly affordable, delivers good results, and it is sold in kits that are similar to buying in bulks from our favorite wholesalers. This brand is called Shany Cosmetics and was founded by a makeup artist with the same name.
Shany Cosmetics
Shany Cosmetics: Have you ever heard of Costco or Sam's club where you can buy groceries in bulks? Well, I hate to compare. But, there's an online makeup store that specialized in selling makeup in sets/bundles for such an affordable price, great packaging and excellent quality that makes me feel as if I am buying makeup from a wholesaler. It is shanycosmetics.com. It was established by a makeup artist whose name was Shany. Shany was looking to create a makeup brand that offered 'more bang for your buck' products without sacrificing quality. Shany developed her own makeup line, which is based in Texas, USA and ships internationally. Shany cosmetics create their own products, and their label belongs to the creator herself. Shany cosmetics are not made by an external manufacturer, so they are 100 percent legit brand. Among my favorite products from Shany cosmetics is The Loose Pearl Eyeshadow Glitter Set with two brushes that contain 40 5-gram eyeshadow pigments for 50 dollars and Eye Sparkle/Loose Eyeshadow set with 40 colors in 3-gram jars that retails for 25 dollars. M.A.C. pigments retail for 22.50 dollars for a 5-gram jar, these are great pigments. Nonetheless, Shany cosmetics loose eyeshadows are as pigmented and long lasting as M.A.C. pigments and come in a package of 40 jars with the same amount of product (5 grams), leaving us with a savings of over 20 dollars per jar. Let's compare: 40 M.A.C. pigments bought altogether would make a total of 900 dollars, while we pay basically 1.25 dollars per pigment if we buy the Shany loose eyeshadow set. This is an enormous saving, not to hate on M.A.C. (which is an amazing brand). But, for someone who is just starting in makeup and is on a budget, this is a pocket-friendly option. Especially for a makeup artist, this could also be an effective way to save on makeup. Shany cosmetics are also available through Amazon.com. Also, when buying inexpensive cosmetics like the ones from Shany, you can mix and match your makeup by using different brands together and save money by getting your holy grail (foundations, primers, moisturizers items from a name brand and the most used ones (eyeshadows, lipsticks, liners) from a professional makeup brand like Shany.
I have also purchased a few brush sets from Shany cosmetics as well as train cases. Shany cosmetics train cases are very affordable and are made of materials that are stronger and sturdier than the train cases found at Sephora. Shany cosmetics train cases come in varied sizes and colors. I own the Essential Pro Large Train Case with Dividers and Strap in Pink and I can store 100 bottles of nail polishes in it.
Shany Cosmetics is an amazing brand since it gives us the opportunity to expand our makeup arsenal without overspending money. Discount codes for shanycosmetics.com are available at retailmenot.com. Also, Shany offers three full-sized samples every time one places an order. Here are a few recommendations that I will suggest if trying the brand for the first time.
Figure1-4. Shany cosmetics, The masterpiece 7 layer makeup All-in-0ne makeup set in Original.

Well, I just hope that you find my recommendations helpful and stay tuned for next week article on a new makeup brand.
