When autumn comes around, it's as if there's some kind of brilliant magic that sets in. Once it does, a door opens to a whole world of things to be appreciated that never gets old.
Not just colors—THE colors.
The deep crimson red, the burnt orange, the golden yellow...and the vibrant brilliance of the leaves when they catch the sunlight in the early morning and the fading evening.
The cooling temperature.
There's something so refreshing about breathing in that distinctly crisp air and the feeling of the faint wind grazing your skin.
When the sun becomes subtle.
I'm talking about that really breathtaking thing when it's cool outside with the sun gleaming in all of its glory, minus the intense, scorching heat.
Rainy Vibes.
Okay, but really—when you're not up for getting tons of cold kisses from the rain, the indoor ambience is so delightful when you're sitting by a window, listening to the muffled pattering of the raindrops, perhaps with a warm mug and a good book.
Everything else is warm and sweet.
The combination of sights and smells so unique to the season are more than enough to just make you all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Flannels, mittens, and scarves...sweet spices of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg...tangy apple cider and decadent hot chocolate...freshly baked goods...hugs from loved ones...etc.
Just go on and try to tell me that there isn't anything beautiful about autumn. I can bet you three apples and a corn kernel that you will not win.
