Adele's '25' Track-By-Track Breakdown

Four years later, after much anticipation, Adele doesn’t fail her fans with another record-breaking album. When Adele released her first single "Hello" a few weeks ago, everyone knew her new album would top the charts. Adele summarizes what she has been doing these past four years in 11 new tracks that have you clicking replay over and over again.

Here is the low down on each song and a powerful lyric that summarizes the meaning of each song:

1. "Hello"

Meaning: Adele reflects on her former relationship she had with someone. She tries to apologize, but realizes that there is no turning back, and she has done all that she can.

Favorite Lyric: “They say that times supposed to heal ya but it ain’t done much healing”

2. “Send My Love (To Your Lover)”

Meaning: This more upbeat song leads us to believe that Adele has moved on and she wishes the best for the man that she addressed in "21" and his new lover.

Favorite Lyric: “We gotta let go of all of our ghosts, we both know we ain’t kids no more”

3. "I Miss You"

Meaning: This erotic song is not something that we are used to hearing from Adele as she talks about her need for desire and devotion.

Favorite Lyric: “I miss you when the lights go out, it illuminates all of my doubts”

4. "When We Were Young"

Meaning: Adele is reminiscing on her past while trying to predict certain aspects of her future. Personally, this is my favorite song on the album solely because of the high-pitch note that she hits.

Favorite Lyric: “We were sad of getting old, it made us restless, it was just like a movie, it was just like a song, when we were young”

5. "Remedy"

Meaning: Adele dedicates this song to the one true love of her life, her son Angelo. She talks about how the world can be a critical place sometimes but she will always be his “remedy.”

Favorite Lyric: “Come whenever I’ll be the shelter that won’t let the rain come through”

6. "Water Under the Bridge"

Meaning: Adele realizes that her relationship is full of mixed signals and she accepts that it could end any day, but she wants to be let down gently.

Favorite Lyric: “If you’re gonna let me down, let me down gently, don’t pretend that you don’t want me, our love ain’t water under the bridge”

7. "River Lea"

Meaning: Adele sings about The Lea, a river in London, and how the pollution symbolizes the failure in her relationships.

Favorite Lyric: "It’s in my blood and I stain every heart that I use to heal the pain”

8. "Love in the Dark"

Meaning: This emotionally heartbreaking song escalates quickly as Adele forgets about her past lover and realizes that she needs to move on.

Favorite Lyric: “There is so much space between us maybe we’re already defeated”

9. "Million Years Ago"

Meaning: Adele admits to how fame has changed her, and she reveals the things that she misses in life like her mother and friends.

Favorite Lyric: “I wish I could live a little more, look up to the sky, not just the floor”

10. "All I Ask"

Meaning: Adele teams up with Bruno Mars in this heart-wrenching song that is full of desperation. Adele makes some confessions that hits the hearts of anyone who listens to it.

Favorite Lyric: “No one knows me like you do and since you’re the only one that matters tell me who do I run to?"

11. "Sweetest Devotion"

Meaning: This song begins with her son Angelo’s voice and progresses on to be a confession of joy that she has toward her son’s birth.

Favorite lyric: “All of my life, I’ve been frozen, the sweetest devotion I’ve known”

These 11 tracks highlight the highs and lows of Adele's current relationship status. We have the opportunity to tune into her life story as we hear about the heartbreaks and apologies she makes while trying to raise her young son. As "25" currently holds the number one album on iTunes, we are reassured that Adele is back and better than ever.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
