DIII may not seem like a big deal to outsiders, but the Owls have much more than a few MASCAC titles under their belt. Numerous NCAA national champions, Smith Cup trophy’s, and the most supportive athlete family there is.
Beach
Stanley Beach that is. The first 60 degree day, WSU students break out the towels and teas for a fun day at the beach with no real sand or water present. Don’t worry Stanley Park Ranger, all red cups will be gone by the end of the day.
Courthouse Square
Where all the underclassman get their weekend fix. Important: Get in before sign-ins. You're welcome.
Dobell
The biggest scandal Westfield has and probably will ever face. You took our money. Please give it back to your ex-college students.
Ely Campus Center
The library, Gym, Bookstore, Dunkin’s, Subway, SGA, Owl’s Nest, Communications Department, need I say more?
Fac/Staff parking
Risk or Reward for parking there at all times of the day and all days of the week. P.S. notes don't work either.
Green
The ultimate hub of Westfield campus life. Even though it’s not always green and the globe is gone, it’s a WSU staple piece.
Hot Fudge Tuesdays
AKA the best day of the week. The ice cream line will be obnoxiously long, but it is so worth it.
Ice
As in ice on all the sidewalks and parking lots. Apparently it’s not in the state budget to buy salt for the ground.
Juniper Park
The little elementary school Westfield bought to make a new performing arts center. No more dreadful walks to JPark!!
Keep Calm and Have Back Ups

Whether you admit it or not, you love Westfield, Western, Mass. and all that comes along with it.
Maple Leaf
One of the few Thursday night hot spots with $9 pitchers, a mediocre DJ, and all of the 21(ish) WSU students flock here to begin the weekend the right way.

Feeling lost not playing three-seasons worth of sports like you did in high school? You have plenty of club and intramural sports to choose from to keep those collegiate athlete dreams alive.

Your go-to spot for drunk food Thursday-Saturday. Get there before the mozzy sticks are gone, or before 1:30 a.m.
Quarries
What to do when Stanley Beach is too crowded for your liking? Venture out a little bit past Westfield to find hidden quarries perfect for a needed day drink.
Resnet
The most reliable Wi-Fi available to resident students that will never bounce you off the internet at the most inconvenient time *said no one ever*.
South Lot
Parking for all students who live on campus. A good mile walk away from some parts of campus, but have the fear the shuttle will be there once every 45 minutes!
Tim and Jeanine’s Dining Commons
The DC, the only dining hall we have to eat ate is unfortunately run by Sodexo. Thinking about eating dinner after 8:00 p.m.? No chance. The holiday meals are bomb, but please please please bring back guac Wednesdays.
University Hall
The newest residence hall WSU has to offer. No in-suite available, but a chance to live comfortably with more than one of your friends. Go ahead and grab four or six of those said friends and test your luck with the housing gods.
Views
Go hit up Mt. Tom or Mt. Tekoa for insta-worthy sights of Western, Mass.
Woodward
The stomping grounds of all movement science students and student athletes. It takes a special type of person to willing walk a half a mile to class.

Unfortunately the school is small enough that it’s almost a guarantee to see an ex-boyfriend/hook-up when walking anywhere on campus.

If you’re feeling the weight of college, in more ways than one, hit up a fitness class at the Wellness Center! Classes like Zumba, spinning, boot camp, body sculpt, boxing, etc., one will be sure to help you shed some serious stress and/or pounds.
