1. Poseidon is your homeboy.
As God of the Ocean, as ruler of our hearts, he is the reason for the strength and love we feel as well as many of our symbols and mascot.
2. You actually know how to spell, and say, cerulean. As a pearl when you first learned about our colors, you asked yourself how would you ever be able to remember this specific shade of blue let alone how to spell it. Time went on and now it's a game of who can say it the fastest.
3. You do everything in three's.
Subconsciously or not, you always catch yourself in sets of three's. Whether it comes to crafting, buying shirts or any aspect of your daily life you have come to realize that life is better in three's. Plus you can't forget triple the letter, triple the lady, triple the fun!
4. One love, one letter, one cause.
You love to see the St. Jude logo on just about everything and secretly want to be philanthropy chair just to visit the children's hospital, Tri Delta Place, and interact with the little ones you have helped to save. Plus who doesn't love being known as a triangle girl.
5. It's St. Jude, not St. Jude's.
No 's'. You want to know how to get under our skin, call our philanthropy by the wrong name and we will quickly put you in your place. Sorry, but get it right.
6. Girl Power.
Tri Delta is the first sorority to establish it's purpose, rituals, symbols and insignia's all without the help of men. Shout out to Sarah Ida Shaw for that one.
7. T-Shirt swap.
The second Facebook page you joined after becoming an active member, the first being your own sorority page. You check this site hourly waiting to see what new designs they've come up with and when the order link is ready for that adorable quarter zip you've been dying to get.
8. Tuesday is your favorite day of the week.
Well of course I'm talking about Tri Delta Tuesday. You search for the perfect picture from the weekend before or a throwback from bid day when you fell in love with the girl who later became your big. Nothing makes you happier than scrolling through your Instagram feed full of your sisters and adding your picture to the bunch.
9. "Let us steadfastly love one another" is no longer just a motto, but a way of life.
The sisterhood you are a part of and the relationships you have made because of this organization go deeper then just liking the person next to you in meeting. You have invested your time and effort into each other and in return have found women that will be standing next to you on your wedding day. When they say it's not four years but for life, they really aren't kidding.
Delta Love!
