Don’t think you are too cool to use a backpack in college because you will definitely need one just like everyone else. I always get mine in a solid color so it doesn’t clash with my outfits and then personalize it with pins, patches and key chains.

2. Reusable Bag

It's good to have a few of these laying around for going to the grocery store. They're more sturdy than plastic, look cuter, and you don’t have to feel guilty about throwing them out after only one use like the plastic ones.

3. Tote

This bag is great for everything from going to work to your friends house. You can even use it in place of a backpack on days where you don’t have as much to carry.

4. Going Out Bag

A little smaller and more fancy than all your other bags this one will come in handy for the weekend when you don’t want to carry a large, heavy bag all over downtown. It also helps to make your outfit look more put together and dressy.

5. Duffel

The biggest bag of the bunch can be used for shoving your stuff into to lug home on the weekends or for dragging your laundry to the laundry room.

6. Drawstring Backpack

Just a casual lightweight backpack for when you're going to the gym, park, beach or just feel like being hands free.

7. Cross body

These types of bags are what I use on an everyday basis in college. They are big enough to hold the essentials without being too big that you keep a ton of unnecessary stuff in there that just weighs you down.

8. Wristlet

Many girls on campus prefer to carry a wristlet. They can fit your keys, money, student ID and phone and can be tossed right into your backpack if you don’t feel like carrying it.

9. Personal Touch

As you have heard many times before college is the time where you really start to figure yourself out and that includes figuring out your personal style. I recommend having at least one bag that helps you to stand out, makes you feel confident, and reflects who you are and the message you want to send to the world.
