9 Times The Office Was Extremely Relatable

After 9 Seasons, What Can't We Compare To How We Live?

9 Times The Office Was Extremely Relatable

After 9 seasons of friendships, laughs, corny jokes, and unforgettable relationships, it is an understatement to say that there were many times we found ourselves comparing The Office to our own lives. Yes, I am talking about comparing Angela and her cats (Bandit, Ember, Milky Way, Diane, Lumpy, Princess Lady, and Sprinkles (R.I.P)) to our own lives where we find that our cats, or any pets for that matter, are our best friends. In honor of the 9 seasons that we have all seen more than once, here are nine times we found The Office was extremely relatable.

1. "Bears. Beets. Battle Star Galactica."

Let's not act like you haven't used "Bears, Beets, Battle Star Galactica" on more than one occasion, because we all know you have. Jim and Dwight's back and fourth relationship brought views many laughs throughout the years.

2. Kevin Spilling A Pot Of Chili. Everywhere.

Any fan of The Office has referenced to Kevin's "chili scene" during any mental breakdown. Admit it, you had a paper and a test due in the same day and thought back to this scene.

3. "That's What She Said"

I know we have all said a "That's what she said" joke at a very inappropriate time as Michael Scott also did, time and time again.

4. Boom. Roasted.

How many times have you or a friend been insulted and someone says "Boom Roasted"? The answer is a lot. Boom. Relatable.

5. Leave Me Be

I think that this quote speaks for itself. Thank you, Andy Bernard, we've all been there. More than once. More than twice actually. You get the point.

6. Procrastination

I know I said that I would clean my room, do laundry, get the mail, and shower. No I haven't left bed. Yes, I watched 7 episodes of The Office and I don't care that I can recite this episode word for word. I got nothing done. We feel you, Phyllis.

7. Don't care

Rule #1: always be Dwight Schrute. Always remember to not care. Sometimes you're too good to care. If you ever find yourself questioning if you should care, ask "WWDSD" (What would Dwight Schrute do?"

8. I Just Want To Eat

It's pretty safe to say that we all put food before any other priority in life. Pam Halpert, you are my spirit animal.

9. No Matter What, We Are Always Thankful For Those Around Us

As much as we may complain about how our family and friends annoy us, we know that they are the first to go to when something big or small happens. They are irreplaceable and all hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you to the cast and writers of The Office for giving us viewers 9 great season and more quotes than we can count. Also, make sure to always remember the three basics of self defense, strike scream and run.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
