The struggle is real for the introvert at heart. As soon as I came to college, my introvert tendencies went into over drive. The more I go through college, the more self-aware I have become. I am 21-years-old, and I would rather be watching a movie by myself (or with one or two close friends, maybe) than go out to the bar to celebrate the ending of a busy week. For me, comfort and security greatly outweigh risk-taking and stepping out of my comfort zone. This has been something that's been a struggle for me at times but largely have accepted and embraced it. If you're anything like me, you might be able to relate to the following:
1. Every time you interact with more than three people for longer than an hour you kind of freak out.
2. Busy week and no plans on a Friday night? Glorious.
3. Meeting new people? Making small talk? Nope.
4. Physical touch? Hugs? Cuddling? Ew.
This might not be a introvert thing, this might just be a "me" thing.
