It's finally October!! You know what this means. HALLOWEEN SEASON IS UPON US. However, because I live in Florida and work at Disney World, Halloween season has been in full swing since August. This is because in the Magic Kingdom, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, on select nights, has already started! So, in the spirit of the ~spooky~ season, here are 9 things that will make you wish Halloween was here already!

1. Going To A Haunted House

I still have yet to do this, but going to a haunted house is sure to make you feel all the fall vibes and scare you into the Halloween spirit.

2. 31 Nights Of Halloween

On FreeForm, there used to be something called 13 nights of Halloween. This is where they would show Halloween movies for 13 nights in a row. However, this year they expanded it to 31 nights of Halloween so you can get all your ~spooky~ movies all month long!

3. Free Candy

4. Halloweekend

As Cady Heron said in Mean Girls: " In Girl World, Halloween is the one day a year where a girl can dress up like a total slut and no other girl can say anything about it." Halloweekend is the Mean Girls version of Halloween in college and it's actually a lot of fun.

5. Decorations

If you're like me you love it when your house or apartment gets decorate for each season or holiday and it becomes a tradition each year to make your home look like you adore Halloween.

6. Pumpin Picking

Since it's October this also means it is time to pick out the perfect pumpkin for you to get crafty with.

7. Pumpin Carving or Painting

When you pick out the perfect pumpkin you then have to decide what design you want to carve out of your pumpkin or paint onto your pumpkin for all your trick or treaters to see displayed on your front porch! Your masterpiece gets displayed for everyone to see, and it can't count as bragging when it's a tradition!

8. Pumpkin Spice

If you're a basic white girl, you know all you look forward to during this season is pumpkin spice lattes. However, because Pumpkin Spice has become so popular, many companies are capitalizing on it and making some of their products pumpkin spice! So, you can have all the pumpkin spice items your heart desires.

9. All the Halloweentown Movies

I don't know about you, but growing up with the Halloweentown movies on Disney Channel was life. I adore those movies and always look forward to watching them every year. (Unpopular opinion: Halloweentown > Hocus Pocus. Sorry Not Sorry.)

If you don't do at least one of these things this October, you will not have lived your Halloween Season to the fullest, and we don't want that. So, make sure you add at least one of these items to your must-do list for this month, or else a ghost may follow you home!

11 Reasons I Love the Season of Autumn

I love every season in its own way, but autumn has a lot to offer.

If you were to ask me what my favorite season was it would be a very difficult question for me to answer. I love summer with its warm weather and sandals. I love spring with its blooming flowers and new life. I love winter for its snowy days and bright starry nights. And I love autumn for its world of colours(and it doesn't hurt that my birthday falls during its season.) I guess though if I had to narrow it down I'd say my favorite season falls in between the transition from summer to autumn because the weather is perfect and the taste of all that fall has to give is teasingly just around the corner. Autumn has so much to give, and so in honour of the season, I compiled a list of a few of the things I love about it.

1. The Leaves

When you think autumn you think leaves. Leaves turning to set the world ablaze with colour, leaves falling to crunch underfoot, leaves raked into piles to play in, and just leaves galore!

2.Hot Coffee, Hot Cocoa, Hot Tea, and Hot Apple Cider

Fall is the perfect time to fix yourself a hot cup of almost anything! Hardly anything beats a warm cuppa and a nice long book. Whether you're a coffee, tea, cocoa, or cider type of person it all hits the spot during autumn!

3. Fall Festivals

I don't know if it's the atmosphere or the festival food, but I have always had a soft spot for fall festivals. I love the music, the booths, the talent, and the people that all manifest together for a few days.

4. Fall Clothes

I'm not a huge fashion follower, but its hard to beat comfy sweaters and worn in boots. I love the clothes that you get to wear in autumn, especially leggings and big scarves. The clothes are super comfortable and keep you cozy as the weather gets cooler.

5. Fall Scented Candles

The smell of fall scented candles are a blessing in this life! I love the smell of all the herbs and spices mixed together. Little else is better at putting you in the autumn mood than a deliciously scented candle.

6. Halloween

I have always loved Halloween because I love spooky things. I love watching movies that are Halloween themed or are just plain scary. I love folklore, dressing up in costumes, eating sweets, and carving pumpkins. This is just one of those holidays that I enjoy celebrating and have lots of fun while doing it.

7. Thanksgiving

Along with celebrating Halloween, we also get to celebrate Thanksgiving during autumn. This holiday has a special place in my heart because it is family centered and a time to reflect on all our many blessings. Mix good times with those you love and amazing food, you've got one happy camper!

8. Bonfires

I love a good bonfire while huddled under a quilt, making s'mores, and surrounded by friends. I have many fond memories of laughing around a fire, and staying toasty while enjoying a night out with buddies.

9. Cooler Weather

Down here in Alabama the summers are as hot as Hades and the winters are as cold as the North Pole, so the reprieve of autumn really hits the spot. The rainy days are perfect for readers and the foggy mornings are nice and peaceful(even if it does look like zombie apocalypse weather!)

10. Watching Folks Get Excited Over Football

Being the only one in my house that doesn't care about football is funny because I get to watch my family hop around the room and scream at the TV. Though they don't see what's so amusing, I am capable of seeing the humor in their antics. The whole football atmosphere can really be fun, especially if you tag along to a tailgating event or a big game. I don't give two craps about the sport, but it can be a fun experience to watch other people get excited about it.

11. Christmas is Just Around the Corner

Though a lot of people complain that Christmas stuff starts popping up in stores way too early I respectfully agree to disagree. I love Christmas (it's my favorite holiday), so bring out the Christmas songs on the day of Thanksgiving, decorate your houses as soon as the turkey has been put away, and fill all the towns with Christmas cheer because I love me some holiday spirit! Autumn for me means that Christmas isn't far off, and that's music to my ears!

I hope you all enjoyed this list and I hope you all enjoy the autumn season.

God bless!
