Working full time can be exhausting. It doesn't matter whether you love your job or can't stand it. If you give it your all, and try hard at what you do, you will be worn out. That's no question. Everyone who works full time knows the struggle of trying to make money and making ourselves pooped out after the work week.
1. Even those 10 minutes of sleeping in matters.
When you're working 8 hour+ days, you really do need that extra 10 minutes in your comfy bed. It makes all the difference once that 2:30 feeling hits you.
2. You constantly feel tired. No matter how much sleep you got.
Working all day can make you mentally exhausted! That's why it's okay to nap as soon as you get home, eat, and go straight to bed.
3. As soon as Monday hits, you're looking forward to Friday.
It doesn't matter how busy or how boring your week is going. As soon as Monday hits, you're already so excited for the following weekend to come.
4. You eat in your car during your lunch break.
Sometimes you just need 'me' time and a break from your co-workers. It's okay to be a loner in your car while you enjoy a quiet lunch.
5. You know that the only way to make the time go by fast is to stay busy. As soon as you don't have anything to do, time basically stops.
It seems as though the time at work flies by when you constantly have something to do/something going on to keep you preoccupied. Especially when it's something distracting. As soon as you're stuck doing paper work or you finish everything you needed to get done for the day, you feel so frantic and ready for the day to be done.
6. You love the feeling of clocking out.
When you finally get the chance to clock out, you feel so much better. It's as though you have the whole evening ahead of you. You also know you're one step closer to the weekend!
7. Your plans after work consist of a nap.
You always need to schedule in that nap once you're done after a long day. It doesn't matter whether you have had an easy or hard day, waking up early can take its toll on anyone.
8. You'll catch yourself doing work at home so the next day seems easier on you.
You'll be working all the time, whether you realize it or not. Work will follow and haunt you! You'll be thinking about work when you're there and when you're at home. The cycle is never ending.
9. When you finally get a day off/vacation, it means so much more to you!
You know that you need to make the most out of your free days. They don't last forever, and you're only given so many so appreciate them to the fullest!
All in all, you know you're making money and striving to make the most out of your job. You always can learn from your job no matter how boring or difficult it can be. We may struggle to even get through a work week, but we know that in the end it won't be so bad once that paycheck rolls around!
