9 Shows You Can Binge Watch On Netflix This Summer
Smash Cut Culture

Netflix is an addiction for several people across the world, especially for college students. The amount of times I watched Netflix before bed, after my classes, or even during them is insane. So, here are a few of my Netflix must watches. If you're looking for a new show to binge, look no further.

1. "The Office"

This show is the best just so amazing I cannot even begin to explain it. I, truly, did not understand the hype about it until I started watching it. It is hilarious, heartfelt, and just altogether amazing television.

2. "Friends"

This show, similar to "The Office", is hilarious and heartfelt. The thing it has in addition to that is that it is good drama. If any of these shows were to get a remake I would want it to be this one, primarily to see what these friends are up to now.

3. "Shameless"

I actually watched this show in just a few weeks. New seasons are still airing on television, and this show is just altogether raw. The story of this family is a must watch for sure, and who doesn't love Carl Gallagher?

4. "13 Reasons Why"

This is my most recently watched show on Netflix. There is a lot of controversy around this show, but I feel like its message is necessary. High school is rough for most people, and those instances happen. Mad props to this cast and the show's writers for addressing issues that are usually whispered about.

5. "Scandal"

"Scandal" is political, suspenseful, and edgy. Sadly, its last season will be airing soon, but that doesn't mean you can't binge it on Netflix. This show truly keeps you desiring more and challenges many political issues we can relate to today, hence why it is ending.

6. Greys Anatomy

Who doesn't love Greys? Well, if you don't its probably because you haven't given it a shot. This show is on its 13th season, and it is still trucking along. Basically, if you like drama, romance, and want to feel like you can perform a surgery I'd watch this show.

7. "Prison Break"

Bless the creators of this show for coming out with new seasons. This was the first show I watched on Netflix and it is amazing. There is drama, edge, and a lot of suspense.

8. "One Tree Hill"

This show is, and always will be my guilty pleasure. I have watched this show all the way through three times, and partially through the fourth time. Words can't explain my love for this show because it is dramatic, suspenseful, funny, and relatable all in one.

9. "Gossip Girl"

I will admit that this last show is not for everyone, but it is still amazing. Very dramatic and it truly did bring me back to high school. It will have you dying to visit New York and wanting to experience the lavish life of those on the Upper East Side. So, XOXO, watch it.

Any of these shows will have you staying up until 2 in the morning even though you said you were going to go to bed at a decent hour. Nonetheless, if you find yourself bored and wondering what show you should watch next, check some of these out; you won't be sorry. Happy bingeing!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
