It's not magic. She doesn't have more hours in a day than you. And no, she's not lucky. We have all seen those girls who just seem like everything is going perfect. They never have a hair out of place, they are always prepared, and they seem to have this glow about them. So how does she seem to have it all together? Let's investigate...

1. She pampers herself.

Whether it is as simple as washing her face at the end of the day or going out and getting her nails done, she takes care of herself. She understands there is nothing more important than a little TLC from time to time. Life takes it's toll on all of us, and there is no reason a bubble bath can't help fix that!

2. She doesn't complain.

Everytime you scroll through Twitter someone is always complaining about something. The girl who has it all together understands that complaining, especially on social media, isn't going to fix any problems. She works hard at the task at hand and gives it her all. That is all she can do and that is all she expects from herself.

3. She has a planner.

No... I am not talking about a person who plans her entire life out. I'm talking about that notebook that everyone buys, but only a few actually use. The girls who's got it all together is the same girl who uses her planner. Find the right one (there are so many options). Once you find it, make it a point to use it! Just don't let it control your life. You don't have to set aside time to have fun...

4. She doesn't listen to others opinions.

You can't control other's thoughts. The girls who has it together just keeps doing what she's doing and doesn't let other's opinions affect her. Focusing on what other people think of you only is going to hurt you in the end. After all, those people aren't her people, and she knows that!

5. She gets ready.

The struggle... Half the battle of "having it together" is looking like you "have it together!" But, as Coco Chanel points out in the quote below, you never what is going to happen (and no... it is not all about boys). You don't have to ditch your Athleisure wear completely, but putting on some makeup and one of the many cute outfits in your closet is always good choice!

6. She cleans up after herself.

It's more that doing the dishes. She dusts her room, vacuums, and tidies up bathroom. Cleaning is not the most fun chore, but once you make it a habit it makes a huge difference! A clean living space is much more refreshing to come home to than a messy one.

7. She has a morning routine.

A common factor in a lot of people's success stories is that they have a morning routine. They vary depending on the person, but all you need to worry about is what is the best way for you to start your day. Is it waking up and heading to the gym or enjoying a cup of coffee? Whatever it is that makes you happy to jump out of bed, do it every morning and establish a routine all of your own!

8. She exercises.

You don't have to have this intense workout schedule, but you should be active. Maybe running isn't your thing, but there are plenty of other options. Find one that works for you and incorporate it into your weekly routine.

9. She manages her time wisely.

We've all heard it a thousand times. So why don't we do it? It's a fair question. We wait until the last second to do everything and then we are stressed. We know the solution, so why don't we apply it? The girl who has it all together has mastered the art time management.

These are just a few of the things that the girl who has it all together does to keep it, well, all together. There is no magic potion... just hard work and self discipline.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
