9 Reasons You Should Quit If He Can't Commit

Nowadays, almost every girl has dates a guy who refuses to give them the "girlfriend" title. Whether he's a commitment-phobe, a f***boy, or just hosts a whole assortment of issues, this type of guy is extremely common out in the dating scene.

One time I dated a guy for eight months before he gave me the title of "girlfriend". Yes, you heard that right. EIGHT months. While every relationship is different and takes a different pace, if your man isn't willing to fully commit to you after a decent amount of time has passed, you should walk away. It can be hard to end things after you've already invested your heart in someone. But if you're looking for a relationship and want to be with someone who will call you their girlfriend, and your current guy isn't willing to give you that title, the longer you stay entangled with him the unhappier you will become.

These are the 9 reasons why you should quit if he can't commit.

1. You deserve better.

Why stay with someone who isn't willing to call you his girlfriend, when you can find someone else that is?

2. The lack of a title makes even the most confident woman feel insecure.

No matter how much you like the guy, you always have that nagging feeling in your gut and you wonder "why am I not good enough?".

3. The paranoia and jealousy he causes in you will make you feel crazy.

Sometimes you even act crazy too.

4. All of the pent-up frustration and resentment you have built up causes you to lash out during your explosive fights.

And, how is this healthy for you?

5. Your friends hate him and are tired of listening to you vent about your problems with him.

Your friends can see what is sometimes hard for you to see- that you deserve better.

6. You're miserable.

Like all the time.

7. The fact that he won't commit to you, shows you he isn't ready to be the man that you need him to be.

And who knows if he will ever be.

8. You don't want to wait around for him anymore, you're over it.

Breaking point reached.

9. You realize you'd be happier alone than to stay in the weird limbo with him.

And one day, you will find that guy who will give you everything you want.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
