At least once in your life, you have to third-wheel. It's a given. If you have third-wheeled, then you know that it can make you feel pretty uncomfortable and awkward sometimes. However, if you're forever alone and have a bunch of friends in relationships like me, you tend to find some positives in being a third-wheel. So, I present the greatest things about chronic third-wheeling:
1. You never have to drive anywhere
It's just kind of an unwritten rule for third-wheelers to ride backseat because driving the couple in the backseat would be super weird.
2. You always have people to go get food with
"Oh, you two are going to get pizza?! Count me in!"
3. You never actually have to look for a S.O. because they do all the work for you by trying to set you up with their friends for double dates
Even though 99% of the time it's a major disaster.
4. Free relationship advice from both a guy and a girl’s perspective
Except it's often unsolicited and unwanted, and their advice often contradicts each other so all you get out of it is giant ball of confusion.
5. You don’t have to worry about impressing them or looking good
Chances are, they don't look good either so you all just look like trash bags together, like three ugly peas in a pod.
6. You have two best friends smashed into one relationship
It gives the term "love triangle" a beautifully wonderful new meaning.
7. You literally always have somewhere to go/something to do on the weekend
Just because you're "a loner", it doesn't mean you have to be "a-lone"!
8. If they fight, it’s a reminder why you’re glad you’re single
I got 99 problems but a relationship ain't one.
9. JK, you’re pretty much not even single… because you’re basically dating both of them
Polygamy is still illegal around here, right? Asking for a friend....
