1. LSU Football Games

SEC Football in the middle of the Fall? Seriously, nothing is better than a Saturday Night in Death Valley with 102,000 other people. The best part is that it never rains in Tiger Stadium.

The World's number 6 ranked Best Haunted House takes escaping to another level. You only have 60 minutes, can you escape?

A unique place to take engagement pictures, senior pictures or bridal pictures. The property is so pretty and very easy to explore.

4. Tour the USS Kid Downtown

An old Navy destroyer that is now sitting on the Mississippi River in Downtown Baton Rouge is a ship that everyone should check out!

6. Eat at Fleur de Lis Pizza

By far the best hole in the wall pizza ever. Thin square pieces fresh out the oven with cheese on top is the perfect go to.

7. LSU Baseball Games

Doesn't get much better than LSU Baseball in the Spring time packed with 8,000 fans.

8. Old State Capitol

The Old State Capitol is 165 years old and is still standing today. The building now serves as The Museum of Political History.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
