Beautiful long hair, like everything, comes at a cost. If you have long hair, I'm sure you encounter these struggles on a daily basis!
1. Your neck hurts while washing your hair.
Hair is heavy and when it comes time to wash it, you dread it. Tilting your head back to rinse out your shampoo is an extra workout in itself for your neck.
2. It gets caught...EVERYWHERE!
Whether its on the chairs at school, or in the car window, or even in your armpits
(Weird but true) your hair ends up literally everywhere.
3. Messy buns are not a thing.
With so much hair, its impossible to create a cute messy bun. Anytime you make a bun, it ends up consuming your entire head and is nowhere near the cute little buns that so many other girls sport.
4. The gym is the worst place for your hair.
I go to the gym on a daily basis and every day I struggle with what to do with my hair. No, this is not because I'm trying to look cute. Instead, I'm trying to find the best way for my hair to not stick to me with all my sweat or get in my face during a workout.
5. The heat is not your friend either.
When it's hot outside, all you ever want to do is put your hair up because it's just too hot with it all lying on your back. Unfortunately, #3 of this list also applies here. And don't even get me started on the frizz. So the heat is the literal worst.
6. You sometimes sit on it.
If you have really long hair like me, you sometimes accidentally sit on your own hair. This makes it really interesting when you need to use the restroom (Thank you to hair ties for making our lives easier!).
7. Speaking of hair ties, you need at least two to make sure your hair stays.
Most people with long hair typically have thick hair too. Because of this, there is no way one hair tie can hold all of that in a ponytail. So break out the hair ties, ladies!
8. Everyone always wants to touch your hair.
You always get compliments on your hair. While those are great, the worst part is that people try to touch it... NEVER TOUCH A GIRL'S HAIR.
9. You love your hair.
No matter how much pain and trouble your hair puts you through, you love it regardless and would cry if you ever had to cut it off.
