Have no idea what to do while you're cooped up in your house? Want to distract yourself for a while?

Here's a list of some of my favorite '80s movies that will take you back in time during your quarantine:

1. Original Star Wars Trilogy

If you want to pass the time and distract yourself, there's nothing better than traveling to a galaxy far, far away. The original Star Wars trilogy follows Luke Skywalker as he learns the truth behind his family and the force that he is a part of.

2. "The Breakfast Club"

"Sincerely Yours, The Breakfast Club." A movie in which five strangers spend an entire Saturday morning stuck in detention and learn about each other and themselves.

3. "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

SAVE FERRIS... from school. This classic '80s movie shares the story of Ferris Bueller and his day off from school as he tries to make it his best day off yet.

4. "Stand By Me"

Grab some cherry flavor Pez and indulge yourself in the coming of age story, "Stand By Me." The movie, based on the short story by Stephen King, shares the tale of four boys who go and discover a missing body and learn about themselves along the way.

5. "Heathers"

What's your damage? A dark comedy with three Heathers and a Veronica that involves death, drama, and romance.

6. "Dirty Dancing"

Ready to have the time of your life? "Dirty Dancing," tells the story of Baby, a 17-year-old, who goes to a summer resort and falls in love with the camp's dancing instructor.

7. "Sixteen Candles"

Your 16th birthday is an important day to many, but what do you do if your sister's wedding distracts your whole family from it and they forget? Obviously spend it with your crush and share a cake together.

8. "Beetlejuice"

BEETLEJUICE! BEETLEJUICE!! Best movie I've ever seen, just don't say his name three times or you'll have to deal with the rambunctious spirit who'll help you get your house back.

9. "The Lost Boys"

The original hot vampires. When Michael and Sam move to California with their mom, they learn that Cali is full of vampires.

10. "Lucas"

Remember that crush you had? The one you would do anything to be noticed by? Yeah, this is that movie, but with football and Corey Haim as a small nerd who wants his crush to like him back.

11. "St. Elmo's Fire"

The Brat Pack. A couple of college graduates embark on several adventures as they handle adulthood.

12. "The Outsiders"

Stay Gold, Ponyboy. The telling of SE Hinton's book about greasers and socs comes to life in this coming-of-age film with Tom Cruise.

13. "License To Drive"

What do you do if you don't get your driver's license but have a date with someone who thinks you got it? You obviously don't cancel and drive her anyways.

14. "Dead Poets Society"

Oh Captain, My Captain. The story of a group of boarding school boys and an English teacher who wants to teach them how to seize the day.

15. "Can't Buy Me Love"

Before "To All The Boys I Loved Before," there was "Can't Buy Me Love" with Patrick Dempsey. The story of a nerdy boy who helps the popular girl in exchange for faking dates and popularity.

16. "Clue"

I suspect Professor Plum, in the dinning room, with the wrench! Based on the popular board game, "Clue" brings the beloved game to the big screen with various endings.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
