First of all, I'm sorry for saying "underrated." Blech, I know. Anyway, Grey's is constantly evolving, and by evolving I mean everybody but Meredith Grey is being killed off. With new and old characters constantly entering with dramatic storylines there isn't much time for all the characters to interact. Here are some Grey's friendships that deserve or deserved way more screentime.
1. George and Tuck
Remember sweet, reliable George O'Malley? The first Grey's main character to die by vehicle was "Uncle George" to Bailey's son, Tuck. 10 years later and he's still punching people, except now he doesn't have George to tell him "Attaboy".
2. Addison and Meredith
Meredith on drugs is the best kind of Meredith. Her sweet conversation with Addison shows that even the dirty mistress and Satan could be friends.
3. Addison and Richard
Addison Montgomery again! Honestly, Addison deserved more screentime in general and especially with Richard. When it came to defending Richard, Addison was SAVAGE. Also, their dancing scene where Addison gives Richard dating advice is the cutest!!
4. Alex and Jackson
Shondaland is run by women, it's "ladyplace". But let's face it, Karev and Avery's bro moments are refreshing compared to the twisted sisters.
5. Cristina and Callie
Probably the best roommates since Monica and Rachel. What's the need for a hairstylist when you have Cristina Yang and a pair of scissors. A hairstylist, godmother, and the go-to girl when you are having girlfriend problems. Also the support Cristina was to Callie after her accident was wonderful.
6. Bailey and Cristina
Think of all the sarcasm and sass these two could've brought to the world.
7. Webber and George
Webber's intern exam roast was the precedent for Kris Jenner's "72 days" clapback. Back in the good 'ol days when George was the Chief's intern and the worst thing to happen was a bomb in a patient.
8. Mark and Meredith
Paging Shonda, yeah for the Dirty Mistresses to be a club there needs to be more than one. It's adorable when the best friend and girlfriend/wife get along.
