As a child who grew up watching Spongebob, I would have never thought that he would relate to my actual life in any way possible... until now, that is. When I watch Spongebob now (yes, I still watch it sometimes), I see many times that I missed before where he actually summed up my life almost to a tee. The following pictures are a representation of how I have felt at one time or another.
1. Taking an exam and you draw a blank on the answers.
There have been countless times where I study my butt off just to go into the actual test and completely forget what I studied.
2. Contemplating life.
Have you ever just taken a moment to sit down and think about what is going on in your life and how you got there? I do all the time.
3. When you have a good hair day.
Mine are very few and far between, but a good hair day is always nice once in a while.
4. Meeting someone for the first time.
Normal Spongebob is when you go in for a job interview, or you're meeting your significant other's parents for the first time. You have to put on the "
5. When you're super stressed out so a trip to Target is in your future.
Let's be honest, Target is one of the best destressers there is. Who needs stress balls and coloring books when you have Target right around the corner?
6. When you go to Target and see something you think you need, but you really don't need it.
It happens to the best of us.
7. How you feel when you leave Target because you spent way too much money.
Need I say more?
8. Finding your true best friends.
For most people, that happens in elementary school. For me, that happened in middle school and college. A little bit late to the game, but hey, better late than never, right? Spongebob and Patrick are the perfect representation of lifelong friends.
So there you have it folks, just a few times that Spongebob perfectly summed up life as we know it. Who knew a cartoon character could be so meaningful?
