As an avid "Breaking Bad" fan, I found that the characters all played distinct roles in an effort to survive and reason with both each other and themselves. Now as a freshman in college, I feel as if the meth-cooking-wild-series somehow relates to college frustrations, experiences and emotions. Although college might not be exactly the same as Walter White's story, we definitely learn a few "valuable" lessons about hard work, rough relationships, friendships and coming to terms with reality from our favorite Jesse Pinkman-Walter White duo.
1. The last time you hugged your parents goodbye and in return they gave you the speech, telling you how important college is and how the choices you make today affect the rest of your life. Yeah, thanks dad, but Walter White educated me on the importance of taking new tasks seriously. I’m not cooking meth, but I am taking chemistry and physics, so I think it applies.

2. One month into school and you realized the importance of only keeping around people who are going to support you. Although it was hard at times to let go of old friends and potential new ones, you knew it would only make you stronger and more successful.
3. After your first all-nighter of cramming, the stale half burnt coffee in the dining hall just tasted like heaven. It’s like sipping pure happiness, despite its less than redeeming qualities.
4. Jesse Pinkman knows why he works hard. So did you when that first big assignment was due. And the only reason you got it done and powered through was because you realized that later in life you need money, a job and a (preferably) nice car. You also probably said to yourself, “I gotta do it man."
5. Those times when the people you share a bathroom with never get out. Please, there are other people in this vicinity who need to go, write your novel somewhere else. Thankfully, Mr. White understands the frustration.
6. Registering for classes is one of the most frustrating things. Half of the classes you want are full and you have more 8 a.m.'s than you know what to do with. In the hours you designated for registering classes, you've managed to feel extreme happiness, annoyance, frustration and confusion. At this point, Jesse Pinkman says it best.

7. The philosophical questions we ask ourselves the week before finals, and still can't answer.
8. You’ve questioned your sanity and done questionable things in the days before an exam. By some miracle, you’ve managed to keep it together, take the test and come out on top. Suddenly, your doubt is replaced with confidence — at least until the next one.
Thankfully, "Breaking Bad" is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Even when we think we've seen the last of our favorite men, they still manage to leave us with relatable memories. Whether you're up cramming for finals or remembering the "bigger picture," keep in mind that if these two can do it, then so can you.
