8 Things Every Girl Needs To Remember About Her "Winter Body"
Inside Charlotte's Mind

Here are 8 things to keep in mind during this spring break and summer, especially if your body is not "bikini ready".... ever.

1. It's your body not anyone else's. Who cares if other people look at you for being different?

Everyone eats. Some people just have a harder time working off that winter weight before bikini season!

2. Don't be the kid with a T-Shirt on because you feel insecure.

Many bathing suits have awesome one piece options and skirts to help with that.

3. Don't feel obligated not to eat while you are out in your swim suit.

Eating food while in a swim suit does not make you look bigger or gluttonous. Refer to number 1.

4. Rock a bikini.

So many awesome brands have made full figures sensitive two pieces! Just because you're a little extra fluffy doesn't give you an excuse to wear a one piece. Refer to number 1.

5. Stay confident.

As Ru Paul always says "if you can't love yourself, then how the hell you gonna love somebody else...." You are beautiful in the skin you were given be sure to show it! Why hide behind a TShirt and swim trucks when you can enjoy the rays and freedom. It should not be anyone else's judgment on what you can and can not wear to the beach!

6. You are not alone.

You know how many people feel the same way about their bodies!?!? Even people who have flat tummies feel conscience sometimes! Don't worry we all secretly feel the same way on the inside.

7. Don't feel discouraged because they're are "skinny" people around you in bikinis.

It is not what you carry it's how you carry it!

8. If your body is stuck in winter mode it's no big deal.

...that's everyone's favorite time of the year anyways!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
