Finding Dory, anyone?

It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of Facebook's New Year’s resolution announcements. They can start to make you feel like you need to buy a gym membership, donate to the ASPCA and get engaged. I try to not make a resolution because they never last more than a few weeks, I’d rather just put an effort into bettering myself on a daily basis without a goal in mind. If you’re like me and want to get away from all of the resolutions, here are some good things that you can look forward to in 2016 that don’t require you to stop eating cake:

  1. "Finding Dory" - June 16th, 2016

Don’t act like you aren’t excited for this sequel.

2. A new president - November 8th, 2016

Okay, to be honest, this one gives me a little bit of anxiety. But if all goes well, I hope an elderly white guy will be sitting in the oval office by the end of 2016.

3. Tours, tours and more tours

We all saw the insanity of people trying to buy Adele tickets a couple of weeks ago but there’s still plenty of time to get one on stubhub. (Or if you’re like me, to Justin Bieber’s Purpose tour).

4. "Orange Is The New Black" Season 4 - June

Word is that Ruby Rose is going to have an even bigger role next season (as if you needed any more reasons to watch).

5. The new iPhone - Rumored sometime between June-September

Apparently it isn’t going to have a headphone jack or home button. All I can hope for is new emojis.

6. "Girls" Season 5 - February 21st

I know Lena Dunham isn’t for everyone, but she’s everything for me.

7. The Olympics - August 5th

Let’s be honest, most of us only watch the opening ceremony (right?) I don’t know if Rio can compare to the Spice Girls reunion but they can try.

8. Beyonce’s Streetwear Line With Topshop CEO

There isn’t much to be said about this besides that it’s happening and there’s a 99% chance I’ll want all of it.
