The semester is finally over. It’s really exciting knowing that freedom is only a few weeks away. But before you’re free, you must go through two “fights to the death”: registering for classes and finals week.
1. YAY THE SEMESTER IS ALMOST OVER!
Oh, so optimistic. The world seems so much brighter when you know that your torture is soon to be ended. Just like all of your motivation for finals.
2. Please, Lord, don’t let me have an 8 A.M. again. Please.
If I could just get a class that starts around 11 A.M., then I promise you, I will wake up like a new person. Waking up at 6:30 A.M. makes me feel like that world is a sad place, but once I get out of bed at 9 A.M., the world is wonderful and nothing can go wrong.
3. The university hates me.
I have decent grades and I have a good amount credits. I always feel like I am registering decades after all of my friends.
4. What classes do I need to make sure I graduate on time?
The whole point of college is to graduate. Hopefully to graduate on time. All I can think about is this perfect schedule that is all lined up for me every semester. However, life isn’t fair so I’ll be taking a class that means absolutely nothing to me.
5. THIS CLASS I NEED ONLY HAS THREE SEATS LEFT.
All I want is to take this pre-req. for all the other classes I need. So please, for the love that is all good, someone change their mind, so I can get this class.
6. This looks like a fun class.
I like that we have a chance to pick classes outside of the major. If I want to take JUGGLING534, then I can, and it would be a wonderful time.
7. IT’S TIME.
I’ve been refreshing the same screen for five minutes because my time to register is in 40 minutes. I need to make sure I have my time.
