Most colleges use the semester system, with two grading terms per year. The quarter system has three terms: triple the amount of class changes, midterms, finals, and headaches.

1. There's no such thing as "syllabus week"

Why are all my professors lecturing on the first day of class??

2. Constant midterms.

Yeah, I have a midterm week three, one-week four, three-week five, two-week seven, and one-week eight.

3. Getting out of school a month later than all of your friends

You graduated aand I just took my first midterm.

4. Getting screwed if you slack off for a week

Okay, I just didn't read for one week and now I have to catch up on nine chapters?

5. Having three midterms and a paper due in one week..two weeks in a row

Get me out of here.

6. Having three sets of finals every year

Over it.

7. Learning 18 weeks' worth of material in 10 weeks

Not all of us have speed reading powers.

8. Killin' the quarter like a boss

Did it!
