8 Signs Your Significant Other Is Your Best Friend

I have been with the same boy for two years now, and it has been the best two years of my life. People ask, how can you be with your boyfriend every hour of every single day? Because he is my best friend in the whole world. When you meet someone who is the male version of yourself, you want to be with them every single moment forever. Here are some of the signs that your significant other is actually your best friend:

1. When something dramatic happens, they are the first person you call.

When all hell breaks loose, you say "Oh my god I can not wait to tell them!"

2. Binge watching Netflix is part of your normal.

Sitting down watching a whole tv series is just so much fun to you two. You know it is real when they tell you that you better not watch the show without them...or else.

3. You are literally disgusting with each other. Nothing is TMI.

She will tell him all of her "girl issues", he will tell her when he has to go #2 and she will do the same. When you two are so close, who actually cares?

4. They know all of your "looks."

They can tell when you are hungry, sad, pissed, happy, confused, bored, and sleepy all by the looks that you give. If they do not know your looks, kick them to the curb, please.

5. They are your biggest cheerleader.

No matter what it is, they will always support you. Through thick and thin they will stand by your side and give you tips, love, and support throughout the way.

6. They know what to order for you when you go to the bathroom.

When the waitress shows up they better know to say "Hi, they will have fettuccine alfredo with salad with only lettuce, croutons, black olives and ranch. Extra extra ranch please. Oh, and with a Dr Pepper!"

7. They hang out with your parents when you are not around.

When you come home and they are sitting with your parents like they are your sibling is a really good feeling to come home to.

8. The only fights that you have are when they steal your food.

Now, they should know better than to steal your food. Although, most of the time they do it just because they know it makes you so mad

There is nothing better in the world than having your significant other as your best friend as well. With a relationship like that, there is no doubt that it could last a lifetime.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
