Summer is approaching, and soon you will be faced with an inevitable butt-load amount of boredom. You've probably seen the first season of all the new shows coming out, but sadly, you can finish all of them in one night, and to be honest, they don't compare to the classic, binge-able shows we all know and love. So here are a few old friends you should revisit over the summer of 2016.
1. "The Office"
Every year, I like to refresh myself with a nice, cool binge of the mid-2000s classic "The Office." It's a classic watch that everyone needs to partake in at least once. Just think back to all the times you were sitting in your room, quietly cringing to yourself at Michael's jokes, getting butterflies over Jim and Pam, and hating Toby. Without even knowing it, you end up burning through three of 10 seasons a night.
2. "Friends"
OK, this one goes without saying. We always need a little '90s sitcom action going on, so this is just a friendly reminder that you probably haven't watched this show in a while and that you really need to. Ten seasons should keep you occupied for a while!
3. "How I Met Your Mother"
In my personal binge-watching experience, this show took me on a two-week journey, and in the end, it showed me that things never really turn out the way you expect or want them to. Watching all nine seasons was a long and very hilarious process that is definitely worth a binge or two.
4. "Breaking Bad"
Once you've watched a couple lighthearted, goofy sitcoms, you should definitely ground yourself with everyone's favorite thrilling drama. "Breaking Bad" is the makes-you-want-to-die kind of good that has a life-destroying story line. But in a good way.
5. "New Girl"
"New Girl" is one of the newer shows out there that really just feels right. There are five seasons out now, which is a pretty decent binge amount, but once you finish those, you'll to wait for the next premiere. I always find myself coming back to it whenever I don't feel like watching anything else, and because "New Girl" is so good, I must add multiple GIFs of it.
6. "Parks and Recreation"
If a golden retriever and a waffle were to somehow give birth to a TV show, it would be this one. "Parks and Recreation" just ended its seventh season, which completed the series. It's always a good time to come back to this (pretty much already a classic) show and refresh your "Parks and Rec" quote game.
7. "Community"
For the longest time, I did not think that I would be able to get into "Community," but after a friend told me it was one of her favorite TV shows, I decided to give it a try. Turns out, this show has become one of my favorites as well. This wacky, complex show has some of the most interesting and most original plots I've seen on TV. Binge-worthy score: 10/10.
8. "Psych"

I know a lot about "Psych," but I will leave this section to my boyfriend, because he actively studies and re-binges on a daily basis:
"I've probably watched this series over 30 times through, maybe more. It's definitely my all-time favorite. You can never just watch one episode -- you have to watch it until you find a stopping point or a break in the series. That's probably why it's so binge-worthy."
So, now that you have some options on what to watch, it's time to sit back, order a pizza, and type Netflix.com into your web browser.
