It's pretty well known that romance isn't something this generation expresses much anymore. Most women long to be romanticized by a man in a way that makes them feel beyond beautiful and valuable. While there are some men that still do these things, it's not so common anymore and it typically doesn't happen until you've actually established a relationship. So, here are some classic romantic moves to pull on your next love interest!

1. Call them.

Don't send a random text in the middle of the day to say 'what's up' and make small talk. Call them up! A phone call conversation is so bizarre today that when the phone rings people automatically panic. If you know she's not busy, just call her! It'll make her day.

2. Go for a walk.

Usually we think of a romantic walk as some 1920's tradition when a man and a woman would go on a supervised stroll through the park and stop on a bridge to watch watch the water flow and have a deep conversation. The truth is, taking her out just to walk and talk is actually really cute. You can get some time with her and communicate on something besides what show to start next on Netflix.

3. Meet the parents.

New flash, not everyone's parents are okay with not meeting the person their daughter is dating! Even if you don't end up dating her forever, show up for dinner one night, shake her father's hand, and compliment her mother's home. Happy parents, easier time.

4. Flowers.

It's beyond cliche but guess what? It works. Nothing will leave a girl speechless like a bouquet of flowers, or even one flower at that.

5. Go on a formal date.

Let her get dressed up and feel good, at least just once. And that doesn't mean go drop $200 dollars on dinner, just tell her to get dressed up and watch her face light up.

6. Read a book together.

Suggesting that you both start a book at the same time could be an amazing way to bring you closer. Whether it's the same book or different ones it could turn into something you two do together a lot. And if you don't like to read, get her a book instead.

7. Hold her hand in public.

Nothing feels better than being openly claimed in front of complete strangers, and if you are around your friends, that's even better.

8. Remind her of the little things.

Taking a trip down memory lane is always fun, and you'd be surprised about how much either of you have forgotten. Spend a hour just talking about little things you remember about each other. It's a fun little game!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
