When we were in middle school and high school we thought what we did was cool. Now looking back on it; we regret those moments. And wonder why our parents let us do those things. But hopefully, we can laugh about the things that we did while we were young teenagers when we are older.
1. Colorful eye shadow.
We thought the blue, green, or different color eye shadow looked good on us. So we did our makeup like that every chance we got and took photos with that makeup. Now looking back at those photos we wonder why we thought those colors were appropriate to wear and wonder why our parents let us leave the house without makeup down like that.
2. Wearing bras to bed.
We didn't have any ideas that wearing bras were only supposed to be during the day. Then we realized how comfy it is to take off your bra after a long day.
3. Picking a boyfriend/girlfriend over things that mattered.
We all hit that stage when we picked our boyfriends/girlfriends over things that really mattered. We picked them over our family, friends, school, work, or sports. We thought that person really mattered to us but now we regret that all the time. We lost important time with our loved ones and things that we love and that we can't get that time.
4. Lacking self-confidence.
Not believing in ourselves or loving ourselves. We didn't think we were capable of loving ourselves and making ourselves better.
5. Trying to fit in.
We did everything we could to fit into the popular group. By buying name brand clothes and trying to fit in as hard as we can. That is because we had an idea that being popular was how we were going to make friends instead of understanding that we need to be ourselves.
6. Picking sports for the wrong reasons.
We picked to play sports for our family or our friends instead of for us. We wanted to make everyone around us happy but not focusing on what will make us happy.
7. Letting drama ruin relationships.
We let our friendships fall because we were too hard headed to admit that we are wrong. So instead we lose some friends that meant a lot to us.
8. Making decisions that almost took our lives.
We thought it would be cool if we went out on a risk and took had some fun but instead it turned into a lives being on the line. That could be with car accidents or drinking under the age.
