It began with the Chelsea Lately Show, then Chelsea Does, Chelsea, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, and before I knew, I was a full fledge fan girl for Chelsea Handler. Through her relentless exploitation of dumb celebrates and persistent use of the f-word, she appeals to a side of me that is offensive to many, and entertaining to none other than myself. I love Chelsea Handler, and you should, too. Here’s why:
Beautifully Blunt
Chelsea will tell if you’re being ridiculous, stupid, or ignorant. On the flip side, she will also let you know when she’s being ridiculous, stupid, or ignorant.
Her Success is a Product of Her Disposition
Chelsea’s personality is what made her famous. She’s an example of someone who could care less about what other’s think, and by doing so, she’s been able to focus on her career and living a fulfilling life.
Reminds Us Not to Take Life So Seriously
She’s a comedian, so natural she has an innate ability to talk about life’s depressing mundanities and make them seem f***ing hilarious. It’s beautiful.
“Laugh loudly, laugh often, and most important, laugh at yourself.”

She Adores Those Who Are Really Fat
Her car driver in New York, “Chocolate Chunk,” receives a lot of love; she brought him on a vacation to Turks and Caicos.
Chunky is her best friend
Chelsea is a dog-loving fanatic. Her dog, Chunky, is featured all over her Instagram and her Netflix series, Chelsea Does, and Chelsea.
"Chunk and I getting ready for today's #chelseashow. Rollers and pre-bandana. Even chunk sometimes goes topless."

Alcohol is her second best friend
Discretion is not her strong suit, so everyone knows that Chelsea Handler is a vodka-and-lemon-loving alcoholic who knows how to have a good time.
“You know you're a hot mess when the only person buying you drinks all night is yourself.”
― Chelsea Handler
Silently sensitive
She may seem crass, but a lot more exists beneath that poker-face façade.
“Have you ever experienced a pain so sharp in your heart that it's all you can do to take a breath? It's a pain you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy; you wouldn't want to pass it on to anyone else for fear he or she might not be able to bear it. It's the pain of being betrayed by a person with whom you've fallen in love. It's not as serious as death, but it feels a whole lot like it, and as I've come to learn, pain is pain any way you slice it.”

Her Sexuality
While many women feel slut-shamed by society for… just about anything they do, Chelsea dedicated a whole book to one-night stands, helping other women find solace in their promiscuity.
