Tots, mashed, baked, fried, you name it, potatoes are it. The starch food can be transformed into so many different things and can still put a smile on somebody's face. Now, that's way better than people to me, especially a bae....ew. Potatoes are forever, and they hold such a dear place in my heart.

1. Potatoes are versatile.

There are many different forms and ways that a potato can be eaten, meaning that it can always change to be just what you like. Along with that, potatoes pair well with a various array of sides and dips. Potatoes can even be eaten alone with joy. Basically, you can build your perfect potato.

2. Potatoes are available virtually everywhere.

You could walk into any type of store and find something potato related. They are always around and they will never leave you. You can go to McDonald's and order a hashbrown, you can go to a gas station and pick up a bag of potato chips, or even to your grandma's for a bowl of mashed potatoes. They live on anywhere.

3. Potatoes are okay with being shared.

They don't care if you want to spend time with your friends, there's more than enough potato love for the both of you.

4. Potatoes do not judge who consumes them.

Potatoes are vegetarian, vegan-friendly, and are gluten free because they are a STARCH. so they are not just limited to a select few people. They are pretty much available to everyone, so the whole world could unite under a single food! You don't have to wear anything or do anything to impress a potato either, it will happily just be eaten by you, bless.

5. There are many different types of potatoes out there.

With the number of potatoes there are in this world, there is something for truly everyone. From sweet potatoes, russet, to red, white, yellow, purple/blue, fingerling. petite, Russian banana, and so on, there is truly an option of what type of potato and taste you want, all which are beautiful. You don't have to conform to one type in order to find love either.

6. Comparing yourself to a potato is not a bad thing either.

Because if you don't love a good potato, you're lying. Embrace the potato head, love potatoes as much as they love you. Potatoes would support you and your potato head, just as they do mine.

7. Potatoes are good sources of nutrients.

Eating a potato can give you a ton of vitamins and nutrients, such as vitamin B6, potassium, copper, vitamin C and dietary fiber to name a few. Potatoes can also have a variety of nutrients that are similar to antioxidants. Wahoo! You can't get that from a significant other.

8. They'll always satisfy you.

No matter what, there are so many combinations that a single potato can take form of to satisfy you. They will never make your life difficult and will always be enough to keep you happy and satisfied forever.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
