8 Reasons Why Disney World Vacations Are The Best Vacations

Walt Disney World has been granted the title of the Happiest Place on Earth, and it absolutely lives up to that expectation. Here is a short list of things to do in Disney World that make it the greatest vacation destination of all.

1. Food

Both delicious and amazingly themed, many Disney World quick service and full service restaurants are something incredible to experience. Whether you are searching for yummy chicken nuggets or delectable lamb, you can find it somewhere on Disney property. Also, be sure to take a trip during select Fall months, where you can experience EPCOT's food and wine festival to eat and drink around the world!

2. World Showcase


Why spend thousands of dollars on an expensive European or Asian vacation when you have the entire world within the parameters of one Disney Park? Walt Disney World's EPCOT contains the World Showcase, which houses pavilions that represent the culture and adventure of many countries around the world.

3. Special Events

As mentioned before, Disney has special conventions, events, and parties year round that can add to the vacation experience. In the Fall season, you can experience Food and Wine festival, Dapper Day, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. In the Winter, you can celebrate Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party, and in the Spring, there is the Flower and Garden Festival, as well as a second Dapper Day!

4. Fireworks

One of Walt Disney World's most breathtaking attributes is their incredible firework displays. From Wishes to the Star Wars fireworks, they can be seen from many locations on Disney property. Staying through the fireworks is most definitely an incredible end to any vacation day.

5. Attractions

Walt Disney World is known for having rides and attractions that are made for people of every age. Rollercoaster lovers can find thrill in rides such as Space Mountain, and Test track, while others can enjoy relaxing rides like Living With The Land, and Ellen's Energy Adventure.

6. Character Meet and Greets

Meeting some of the most popular characters in Disney World is one of the most exciting parts of a Disney vacation. In Disney parks, you can meet everyone from Mickey Mouse to Baymax and Peter Pan, making the experience great for everyone. Character interactions are great for people of all ages, and the photographs will serve as great memories of your trip.

7. Shows and Parades

One of my personal favorite parts of a Disney World vacation is finding a shady spot to watch a show or parade. Disney has a very wide variety of entertainment, from Mickey's Royal Friendship Fair, to the Festival of Fantasy parade. These are great times to feel the magic build around you and to remember what life was like before college loans.

8. Family Time

All in all, the greatest thing about Walt Disney World is it's ability to bring families together. Disney is a vacation that nobody will outgrow, and the time spent together is time you will always remember. The photographs that you take will constantly remind you of how happy you can feel when everyone is together, and the memories you make will always be in your heart.
