Rabi-Ribi is an action platformer game that was developed by CreSpirit and GemaYue and published by Sekai Project. I got it on Steam for $17.99 and have loved every moment with it. Named after the rabbit, Erina, and fairy, Ribbon, that you play as, the game has been reviewed as "overwhelmingly positive" and for good reasons.
1. Art style.
The adorable art style of the game is what initially captured my interest in it. When you are moving around the world, the game has a cute pixel art style bursting with vivid colors. Dialog sprites and CG images have a more anime-esque style to them, which gives some variation to the pixel art but keeps up the vibrant colors.
2. Unique concept.
Stop me if you've heard this one before: a bunny wakes up in a human body, befriends a fairy, and wields a giant hammer through her search for her master and her master's sister. This game has one of the most interesting concepts I've seen in quite a while at the core of it, and you could tell that the people working on the game had fun with it.
3. Intuitive gameplay.

While you can play with either the keyboard or a controller, I loved the simple and natural control scheme. If you've ever played a platforming game before, the controls will be easy to pick up with the A-button for jump, Y-button for melee attack, and X-button for range attack.
4. Sense of exploration.

The world that the game takes place in is large and the player has the ability to explore most of it whenever they so desire. Each area is very different and you can discover all the secrets in your favorite areas, such as the Sky High Bridge, Evernight Peak, the Natural Aquarium and the Floating Graveyard.
5. Lots of characters.

The more you explore the world of Rabi-Ribi, the more characters you will meet with their own personalities and quirks. Most of the characters also know and are friends with the other characters, making Rabi Rabi Town feel alive and exciting.
6. Plentiful amounts of items to collect.

The more you explore the world of Rabi-Ribi, the more items you will come across. While it will take quite a while to get all of the items, I found it quite fun as you gain more ways for Erina to maneuver about, new types of range attacks for Ribbon and more badges to customize your gaming experience.
7. No need to grind.

A common complaint for these sorts of games is that they use grinding in order to pad out their length, but I didn't find that in Rabi-Ribi. While you level up weapons by using them and gain stat increases by potions you find throughout the game, those things happened naturally while I was exploring. You can purchase potions, items and other upgrades in Miriam's shop with EN, or this game's currency for defeating enemies. The game rewards the player with reasonable amounts of EN, so I'd get enough EN from each area I was exploring to purchase many upgrades without unnecessary tedium.
8. Best of both linear and nonlinear.

While you can explore the world at your own pace, there is also an overarching story behind your adventure. This gives some general direction to your journey and keeps you from getting stuck and frustrated. I always found it to be a joy to play through and find out how the plot would develop.
