8 Reasons I'm Ready for Fall

School has began, the days are getting shorter, and the leaves will soon start to change. With fall approaching us some things haven't yet changed! It is still 85 degrees and hot outside. Fall will here in a couple of weeks and here in North Carolina it is still hot and humid outside. I honestly can not wait for fall and the cool weather it brings, along with so many other things!

1. Cute clothes!!!

I dress so much more cute in the fall than summer. With so many options to choose from while layering clothes how could I not? There are scarves, cardigans, leggings, boots, and sweaters. Different varieties all the same style, but all still very cute.

2. Pumpkin flavored everything.

Yes, I am basic and I love the pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin flavored desserts, coffee creamer, and even pumpkin scented candles. It is all such a fall right of passage.

3. Cool weather!

No more dying of heat exhaustion, sweating, or dehydration. Fall gives us nice weather with a cool breeze. Cooler than the summer but warmer than the winter. What a perfect combination.

4. Football!

Fall brings along the greatest sport ever played.

There is nothing like watching football whether it be high school on Friday nights, college on Saturday, or NFL on Sunday. In the south, we love us some football.

5. Haunted houses and scary movies.

Who doesn't love being scared during October and Halloween?

6. Dark colored makeup.

I am a makeup addict but fall brings along those plum colored lipsticks, nails, and eye shadows; definitely my favorite!

7. The Fair.

County or state, they are all fun and exciting. One of the best fall activities to try.

8. THANKSGIVING!

One of the best holidays just so happens to be during the fall. This is the start of the holiday season and the best time to enjoy family and friends; to reflect on life and all that your'e thankful for! Not to mention the all the food at dinner is pretty great too.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
