Mrs. Becky makes Anderson University feel like home. I can’t imagine having a different lady always on campus supporting and encouraging students every single day.
1. Mrs. Becky is always smiling.
Have you ever seen Mrs. Becky frown? No. She is filled with this contagious happiness that makes everyone around her want to smile.
2. She is instantly your friend.
Whether you just met her yesterday or you’ve known her for months, Mrs. Becky is instantly a friend. She makes an effort to get to know students on campus. I’m convinced she’s never met a stranger.
3. She’s hilarious.
From saying, “hellur!” every time she sees someone to cracking jokes then saying “I’m just kidding,” she is one of the funniest people I know. I could write out some hilarious things she’s said, but that would take too long.
4. She’s always around when you need her.
I see Mrs. Becky riding around campus in her blue cube at least once a day. She’s always around if you need someone to talk to which leads me to my next point…
5. She is selfless.
Mrs. Becky would give anything to help others out. She serves our Anderson community and serves with us on mission trips. She’ll talk to you on the phone if you have an issue and need someone to listen right then, she’ll drive over to campus late at night to see you, or she will even meet you at the W.F. (what she calls Waffle House).
6. She is so in love with Jesus.
Mrs. Becky’s love for Jesus is so evident. She loves to worship our Savior and live a life pleasing to Him. She is a great Godly role model for me and many others at Anderson University. Her love for Jesus is inspiring.
7. And she loves Anderson University.
Not only does she love Jesus, but she also loves AU. This is evident in her support of our school and the activities and lives of everyone on campus. She gets us excited about events on campus and the future plans here at school.
8. And everyone else she meets.
Mrs. Becky has a heart of gold; she’s a real gem. She loves everyone she meets, invests in student’s lives, and encourages us all to be young men and women who honor Jesus with our lives.
Mrs. Becky is a role model, a friend, and a motherly figure for AU students. I can’t imagine Anderson University without her cube, her laughter, and her friendly face. Thanks for making AU a wonderful place, Mrs. Becky.
