1. Fall Out Boy
I don’t mean the current Fall Out Boy. Don’t get me wrong, I love current Fall Out Boy, but I mean the 2007 angsty as hell, "Infinity on High" and "From Under a Cork Tree" Fall Out Boy. Try and tell me that "Sugar, We’re Going Down" wasn’t your jam at one point – you can’t.
2. Brand New
"Deja Extend" is hands down one of the best albums I’ve ever listened to. It holds such a special place in my low-key emo 14-year-old-self’s heart.
3. All Time Low
All Time Low is so near and dear to my heart because I feel like I grew up with the band. I was 11 when I first heard of them and they were around my current age (19) at that time. It’s pretty dope to have been able to see them grow into what they are now.
4. Taking Back Sunday
Taking Back Sunday was always a really high-emotion band. Whether it be listening to "MakeDamnSure" when I was upset with someone or something, or "My Blue Heaven" when I was feeling down, Taking Back Sunday was always good for really intense feelings.
5.Blink 182
"Enema of the State." Do I honestly even need to say anymore?
6. Yellowcard
Ocean Avenue is the definition of the perfect song to blast while driving around with your friends. Roll down the windows, scream your head off to the lyrics and laugh at how bad you all sound. It’s the best.
7. Simple Plan
"I’m Just a Kid'" was my literal anthem in high school. Simple Plan always just seemed to understand the struggle that was my life when I was 15.
8. Panic at the Disco
Despite their ever-ranging style – from the very dramatic and theatrical "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" to the more hippie and mellow "Pretty Odd" – Panic always just seemed to be a really solid band.
