The worst part about going on a vacation is packing for your trip. When you think you've got it all, there's probably something you forgot. To make sure you stay well-prepared for your upcoming travels, here are a few items I found to be necessary but are easily left unpacked.

Traveling can keep you busy, but there can also be a lot of downtime. Airports and long car rides provide you with the perfect opportunity to pick up a good book and kill some time. Magazines, articles, newspapers and any other kind of
reading material are always a good idea to have on hand.
2. Safety pins.

Whether you’re having a wardrobe malfunction or simply need a sharp metal object, safety pins are a simple tool that you never know when you’ll need on hand. They’re small and safe to travel with and can come to be a huge lifesaver when needed.
3. Travel adaptor.

Depending on where you’re traveling, you want to make sure your electronic devices are adaptable to foreign outlets. Whether you need to keep your cell phone charged or blow-dry your hair, there are plenty of travel adaptors on the market that can save you from a lot of trouble, and an even worse hair day.
4. Baby wipes.
Baby wipes are always a convenient product to have on hand whether you’re near or far. If you don’t have access to a shower, these guys will help keep you clean and refreshed. Similar to other wet wipes, baby wipes will help keep your vacation simple and mess-free.
5. Reusable water bottle.
It’s important to stay hydrated anytime, anywhere. Traveling can keep you busy and constantly on the move, so make sure you have plenty of access to water. Selecting a convenient water bottle to carry with you at all times is a smart way to ensure more fun and plenty of hydration!
6. Laundry bag.

Suitcases can end up a bit disheveled towards the end of your trip. With most items being your clothes, having a laundry bag to separate your clean vs. dirty clothes can help stay you
organized.
7. Snacks.

The second most important thing to staying hydrated is staying well nourished! Although you may not be deprived from food for too long, it’s never a bad idea to keep a simple snack on hand to curb your hunger. Products like protein bars and various fruits are nutritious, easy and travel-friendly.
8. Ibuprofen.

Don’t let a headache keep you from enjoying your trip. Long days and excessive sun exposure can be draining. To be prepared, keep a travel-sized container of ibuprofen on hand in case you or anyone may need a quick pain reliever.
