Whether you're the next Bobby Flay or the next season's worst cook candidate, we can all find enjoyment in 'Worst Cooks in America' on the Food Network. This show takes 12 to 16 contestants who are nominated by family and friends as the "Worst Cooks in America" through an eight-week boot camp that teaches them essential cooking skills and important techniques. The final challenge for the remaining contestants is to cook a restaurant quality three-course meal for three top food critics. The winner of the entire show receives $25,000 dollars and a brand-new cooking set on top of their new skills in the kitchen.
Not only do the contestants learn, but the audience does as well. I can't judge these cooks because I'm doing a lot of learning myself that makes me want to test my skills (or lack of) in the kitchen. There’s no doubt that these cooks show huge improvement throughout the show, but there’s no shortage of hilarious moments in the kitchen.
Here are some important moments from "Worst Cooks in America" that I can't help but laugh at but completely understand at the same time:
1. We feel you, bro.
Not the most popular of vegetables. I can't lie, I had to google it to clarify.
2. *Everything better a little vodka in life*
When in doubt, add vodka.
3. Recipes are hard.
Can you put that in much simpler terms, please?
4. A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do?
When times get desperate.
5. The oven was his second choice.
When times get even more desperate.
6. When you crush life. Or crush garlic. Damn good.
When you successfully manage to make a recipe perfectly for the first time.
7. You know you're born to be a chef when you can proudly say...
When the passion is real, but cooking is hard.
8. Ron Ben-Israel for President.
If there's one thing everyone should know how to do, it's bake cake.
