Depending on who you are what you look like the police system may or may not be a positive influence on your everyday existence. With many recent events involving high rates of police brutality and a severe lack of training among the police force, I can understand why one wouldn't be a fan of the current legal system. To make matters worse, the police force doesn't seem to catch or care for plenty of lawbreakings that are currently undergoing the generation (which might be pretty awesome for you).
These are the top illegal activities young adults get away with almost ALL the time...
1. Smoking Weed in Public
It doesn't matter where at — the neighborhood park, an alley outside of your school, or literally walking on the sidewalk outside of one's house. The cops never seem to find out or see you.
2. Illegal Movie Streaming
This is more so a higher government matter, but if you're a broke college student, you know the struggle of affording Netflix, Hulu, and Spotify all at the same. Illegal movie streaming websites, like Putlocker.is, then keeps your bank account in check. Although if you get caught, you could be paying a lot more than your college tuition.
3. Peeing Outside
It's a free country yet I think we forget that this doing is actually illegal for being "too sexual" for the general public. When you gotta go though you gotta go.
4. Underage Drinking
"So Friday night, what's the plan?
"House party at Micheal's?"
"Oh this Saturday, too? Cool. I got you on the liquor!"
5. Snap-chatting/Texting While Driving
When your favorite song comes on, it's only instinctive to grab your phone and video yourself dancing (especially when you're with your girls). Plus, the car is the perfect place to show people that you're making moves while looking cute. (Luckily, you'll only get in trouble if you're the one actually driving).
6. Plagiarizing Different Artists
With Instagram now so engraved with our everyday basis, many users have begun to use other people's art to post for the sake of their aesthetic. Many times these profiles aren't even caught unless someone important is really creeping on your page and reports you. Yikes!
7. Getting Fake IDs
Someone has to get the liquor for the party Saturday night.
On a more important note, I remember one time seeing the cops catch younger females with fake IDS and letting them keep them! No charge or anything (LBS).
8. Salutary Rape
Out of all the situations, this is the most crucial dilemma undergoing the current generation. Universities from all over the world continue to fight the power of non-consented sex, yet it still occurs for many women (and possibly males) throughout our college education system.
