8 Fun Things To Do In Dallas This Summer

Hey Y'all! If you have ever visited Dallas or lived there in the summer, then you understand the struggle of doing things because of the heat. Well here are some fun things to do in Dallas this summer!

1. Taste of Addison

This happens every year, but this year it will May 13-15 in Addison Town Circle. They will have over 100 restaurants you can try, plus The Band Perry will be performing this year!! It costs $15 to get in and enjoy a lot of food, music, and time with friends. This is super fun to go to with a huge group of people!

2. JMBLYA Festival

Yes, it will be in the Cotton Bowl and will be featuring a lot of artists including Future, Kevin Gates, Rae Sremmurd, and many more! It will happen on May 13. Tickets are $70. Get a bunch of friends together and go to this amazing event.

3. Slide The City

I did this last year and it was a lot of fun but now it is coming to Dallas on June 25! Tickets range from $25-35. I think this should be on everyones bucket list because it is an absolute blast and a fun way to see the city, go with a group of friends and bump them off their inner tube!

4. Skyline Trapeze

If you are feeling adventurous for the day head out to this incredible place where you can swing through the sky and learn how to do cool circus tricks. Each class lasts around 2 hours to truly learn the ropes of how to fly on trapezes.

5. Trinity Forest Adventure Park

Who wouldn't want to enjoy 7 acres of zip lining and aerial obstacle courses?! This amazing park is located in South Dallas and sounds like an absolute blast for a group of friends or a family. You could spend hours at this park, this is a great idea for a day trip!

6. Gexa Energy Pavillon

If you are in Dallas during the summer this is the ultimate destination for every country music lover! Every summer this place gets packed with thousands of people a week for different country music concerts. This summer Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker,Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band, and Brad Paisley will be apart of the Country Megaticket!

7. Kaboomtown

Fourth of July firework shows are a very big deal in Addison, they offer the best show in Dallas County. Lay a blanket or bring some chairs and enjoy a wonderful firework show with family and friends. Addison performs an incredible celebration for America, with food, music and fun for everyone!

8. White Rock Lake

To beat the Dallas heat, rent a kayak and go to White Rock Lake and enjoy a nice relaxing day while seeing some beautiful Dallas scenery. This is the perfect place for people who don't have a lakehouse or a boat to use on Lake Lewisville.

Hope this will help create a fun summer in Dallas! As always, you can just chill at the pool but here are just a couple fun things for a day out!
